			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, he got through &#8211; though by the closest margin in 50 years, 53-40.  Not quite the 70% that it was initially expected to be.  Hopefully he won&#8217;t fuck it up too bad.  Though, it&#8217;s hard to do worse than Alberto Gonzalez.  There&#8217;s a lot to like about the guy, I will say that, but <a href="http://mrasher.com/2007/11/01/mukasey-is-a-moron/">that whole waterboarding thing</a> is just crazy to me.  On the upside, if you can consider it that, I believe Mukasey said that he&#8217;d uphold &#8211; not that he&#8217;d have the option to otherwise &#8211; any law passed by Congress stating that waterboarding equated to torture and therefore was illegal.  That being said, I can&#8217;t find a link online where I read that.</p>

And rightfully so, I might add.  In this day and age, why are we still talking about waterboarding?  It is clearly torture, how is this confusing to people?  Waterboarding = torture.
